A social media video widely circulated shows a fight between loco pilots at Gangapur City Junction in Rajasthan. The pilots argued over who would operate the Vande Bharat Express, which runs between Agra and Udaipur. Reports indicate that West-Central Railway, North-West Railway, and Northern Railway have all instructed their respective teams to run the Agra-Udaipur train. This has led to daily conflicts between the staff from these three regions, all fighting to operate it.

Some users share humorous remarks, while others highlight the serious risks the situation poses. One user commented, “India is not for Beginners (Laughing imojis)” while someone else said,” Ye jo bhi hua … sharmsaar ker dene wala hadsa hain…aisi to illiterate log bhi nahin kerte…in sab ko aise saja deni chayiye ki jindgi bhar aise gunah ne kare koi train chala de to public to ram bharose (What happened is a disgraceful incident… even illiterate people don’t behave like this… they should be punished so severely that no one ever dares to commit such a crime again. If they operate a train, the public is left at the mercy of fate).”
According to the reports, the issue first emerged earlier this week during the train’s inauguration. Employees from the Agra and Kota Railway Divisions got into an altercation about who would manage the train. The situation worsened, causing damage to the guard room’s lock and glass windows.
The semi high-speed Vande Bharat Express between Udaipur and Agra officially began operations on September 2. The train runs through three railway divisions in different zones, starting at Udaipur in the Ajmer Railway Division, passing through Kota Railway Division, and concluding its journey at Agra in the Agra Railway Division.
