A post has been going viral on social media claiming that Watson continued to play despite the knee injury only because of MS Dhoni.

According to the post, when a reporter asked Shane Watson as to why he continued to play even after getting injured, Watson replayed, ” Just for one man MS Dhoni, when I was failing he kept me playing. I wanted to do something special for MSD and his fans for their unconditional love. ”

At the time of filing the report, the post had more than  8,000 shares.

We run a Google search using keywords ‘Shane Watson’, ‘ Dhoni’, ‘Knee injury’ and did not find any report to support this post

Moreover, when we scrolled through his social media page, we found this vied omessage on his Instagram page.
