A picture is doing rounds on social media which shows Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone injured.
The caption of the picture in Hindi read: “अगली मूवी👇

NewMobile fact-checked the about picture and found it to be FAKE.
On putting the picture through Reverse Image Search, we found the original picture, which is of JNU Students’ Union President Aishe Ghosh.
The picture was taken after she was thrashed by a masked mob inside the JNU premises on January 05th, 2020.
The above FAKE vs REAL collage proves that Deepika’s face was super-imposed on Aishe Ghosh’s face to create a FAKE image.
On digging further, we found the original picture of Deepika Padukone from where her face was extracted.
In conclusion, the above information proves that the viral picture in circulation is morphed.
