Several videos claim to show a massive snake over 120 feet long spotted at the 2025 Prayagraj Maha Kumbh Mela. In one video, the enormous snake is seen emerging from the water, leaving people stunned and running in panic. Another video purportedly shows the snake struggling against a JCB machine.
These videos are being widely shared with a caption: “A 120-foot-long, 1,000-kilogramme snake found at the Maha Kumbh.”

NewsMobile fact-checked the claim, and found it to be false.
Analysing the viral videos, we noticed that the giant snake and the surrounding characters appeared unrealistic. Key details, such as the snake emerging from the JCB and people calmly recording videos near such a massive creature, raised doubts about the video’s authenticity. These elements are often characteristic of digitally created or AI-generated content.
Additionally, running the video keyframes through an AI detection — Sight Engine, we confirmed that the videos were digitally created.
A Reverse Image Search also found the same video uploaded on a YouTube channel, Linda’s AI Live, dated January 4, 2025. The description of the video explicitly mentioned that it was computer-generated. Upon examining the YouTube channel, we found numerous other videos showcasing similar VFX creations.
The description reads: “All the content on this channel is entirely computer-generated and is for entertainment purposes only. Please don’t take it seriously. If you like it, please subscribe. Thanks!”
Thus, it is clear that the viral videos are not real but artificially created.
