Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani are set to tie the knot on July 12, at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. Their star-studded sangeet night took place in Mumbai on July 5, featuring a private concert by global pop star Justin Bieber.
A video featuring Bieber is being widely shared on social media showing him dancing to a popular Bollywood song Kukkad Kamal Da. Many users claim it is from Anant Ambani’s sangeet ceremony.

NewsMobile fact-checked the video in question, and found it to be doctored.
Upon closely analysing the viral video, the NM team noticed ‘Jack Ü’ written on the backstage screen. Music producers Skrillex and Diplo, who formed the duo Jack Ãœ, gave a hint that the video could not be from Anant Ambani’s sangeet ceremony.
Running the viral video keyframes through Reverse Image search, we traced an extended version of the Bieber clip on a YouTube channel, Glenjamn 3, dated August 4, 2015.
By carefully watching the video, we observed Bieber making similar moves at the timestamp of 1:30 minutes. At that particular timestamp, Bieber can be seen moving to the song, Where Are Ü Now. According to the description of the video, it is from day 2 of the Hard Summer event.
Further investigation on Instagram revealed that Justin Bieber had uploaded an image from the same event on his personal Instagram handle, dated August 3, 2015.

Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral video on Justin Bieber’s musical performance is NOT from Anant Ambani’s recent sangeet ceremony, BUT from a 2015 musical event.
