FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the post, and found it to be old.

Running the viral video keyframes through Reverse Image Search, the NM team traced a video report on ABP Live’s YouTube channel, dated September 13, 2018, with a title: “Special Report: Three Terrorists Down in 30 Hours in Jhajjar Kotli.” We carefully watched the video and found the viral clip at the timestamp 04:56 minutes.

As per the video description:Three Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists were gunned down by security forces in an encounter in the Kakriyal area of Jammu district on Thursday. Twelve security personnel were also injured in the exchange of fire. The Inspector General of Police, Jammu, SD Singh Jamwal, said, “Three terrorists have been killed and twelve security personnel have been injured. These terrorists were from Pakistan’s Jaish-e-Mohammed.” During the encounter, a large number of locals and journalists gathered at the spot and had to take cover behind bushes and plants to protect themselves from crossfire between the terrorists and security forces.

We also found relevant media reports on multiple outlets, including India Today, Republic World, and The Times of India, all dated September 13, 2018.

Hence, it is confired that the viral video showing army personnel dragging a terrorist is not related to the recent J-K Reasi bus terror attack.
