In a major escalation of hostilities, Pakistan launched coordinated attacks on multiple fronts just hours after its failed attempt to target 15 Indian cities. The offensive included heavy shelling along the Line of Control and International Border in Jammu and Kashmir, as well as air strikes targeting the winter capital, Jammu. Simultaneously, Pakistani drones were intercepted in Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer and near the Sir Creek area in Gujarat, with additional attacks reported on military installations across Punjab, Rajasthan, and Gujarat.
Amid this, a video circulating on social media purports to show Indian soldiers waving white flags while retrieving the bodies of fellow soldiers along the Line of Control (LoC). It is being claimed that this is a recent incident after Operation Sindoor.
The video is shared on Facebook with a caption: “At the Line of Control, the Indian Army is waving white flags to retrieve the bodies of their dead soldiers. #IndiaPakistanWar #OperationSindoor #PakistanZindabad”
#WATCH Hajipur Sector: Indian Army killed two Pakistani soldiers in retaliation to unprovoked ceasefire violation by Pakistan. Pakistani soldiers retrieved the bodies of their killed personnel after showing white flag. (10.9.19/11.9.19) pic.twitter.com/1AOnGalNkO

Additionally, The Times of India also confirms that the video shows Pakistani soldiers retrieving the bodies of their comrades under the cover of a white flag in the Hajipur sector of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The incident occurred on September 13, 2019, following retaliatory firing by the Indian Army.
Thus, it is clear that the viral video in question is NOT related to the recent Operation Sindoor, and is viral with misleading context.
