A photo showing broken chairs scattered across an open ground, linking it to the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, is widely circulating on social media. Many users claim that it shows the aftermath of a recent Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) rally in Bihar, where the crowd allegedly left the venue in disarray.
The image is shared on Facebook with a caption: बिहार चुनाव के रुझान तो आ गया है मगर चुना आयोग के आशीर्वाद से नतीजा कुछ और ही आयेगा शायद __भाजपाइयों में जो कॉन्फिडेंस दिख रहा है पर जमीनी हकीकत कुछ और है (English version: The trends of Bihar elections are out, but with the blessings of the Election Commission, the result will probably be different. The confidence that is visible among the BJP members is different, but the ground reality is something else.)

FACT CHECK
NewsMobile fact-checked the above claim and found it to be MISLEADING.
A Reverse Image Search finds the viral picture shared on Facebook pages of Upendra Gupta Pindrawala and Runnisaidpur, dated October 27, 2020. It is claimed that the image is from Belhar in Banka district, taken during a campaign event for JDU candidate Manoj Yadav, where actor and BJP leader Dinesh Lal Yadav “Nirahua” had come to campaign for the NDA.
Further keyword searches led to a Dainik Jagran report confirming that Nirahua and BJP leader Ram Kripal Yadav had, indeed, addressed an election rally in Belhar in support of the JDU candidate during the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections. The report mentioned that a large crowd had attended the rally but made no reference to any broken chairs or unrest.

Thus, it is confirmed that a 2020 poll rally photo has been falsely linked to the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections.
