A video showing few masked people misbehaving with a journalist has gone viral on social media. Many users claim the video to be from Bangladesh where protesters are not even sparing the journalists reporting on the ground. Many users have criticised the Indian journalists for reporting on the Bangladesh protests.
A Facebook user posted the viral post (archive link) with the following caption:

Running a Reverse Image Search of the video keyframes, the NM team traced a report in the Business Standard, dated June 2, 2020. The report also carries few screenshots of the viral video. According to the report, Hasanuzzaman Saki, a reporter from Somoy Television in Bangladesh, was misbehaved by some masked protesters in New York on June 1, 2020. This incident happened when he was covering the ongoing protest at Times Square against the death of George Floyd in police custody.
Another YouTube video from the official channel of Somoy TV, posted on the same day, carries out journalist Saki’s statement narrating his ordeal about what and how it happened to him during that time.
Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral post, claiming to show protesters misbehaving with a journalist in Bangladesh, is fake.
