A video showing a group of people burning BJP flags and shouting slogans is widely shared on social media. A Facebook user posted the viral post with a caption:

വോട്ട് കുത്തിയപ്പോൾ ആലോച്ചുകാണില്ല, അതിന് അവർ ഇത്ര വലിയ വില കൊടുക്കേണ്ടി വരുമെന്ന്… (English version, below.)

FACT CHECK
NewsMobile fact-checked the viral post, and found it to be misleading.
Running a Reverse Image Search of the video keyframes, NM team identified a tweet, dated January 30, 2022, on the official handle of Congress Seva Dal.
The video in the tweet looks like a longer version of the viral clip and the caption informs that the incident happened in Manipur, not for the ongoing violence but over the announcement of candidates by the BJP for the assembly elections.
Conducting a Google Keyword Search to know more about the incident, our team identified a YouTube video on the official channel of Latestly, dated January 31, 2022, and titled: Manipur Assembly Polls 2022: Protests Erupt After BJP Releases Poll Candidate List.
One of the videos in the news report matches the viral clip and the report confirms that BJP supporters in Manipur were protesting the candidature list for the state elections in 2022. Protesters burnt effigies of Modi and Chief Minister N Biren Singh. Few party members who were hoping to get tickets resigned immediately after the party ignored their names for the elections.
A similar news report was also published on the official channel of The Quint.
Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral post, claiming people in Manipur burnt BJP flags to protest against the recent violence against Kuki women in the state, is misleading.
