An image associated with this incident is widely shared on social media, depicting a person seated in front of a damaged house. It is claimed that it captures the aftermath of the blast in Shanti Vihar.

Performing a Google Reverse Image Search, the NM team spotted the same picture uploaded on an account ‘Treeni’, dated October 30, 2023. According to the post, the viral image was generated with the assistance of Artificial Intelligence tools.
Examining the viral image through different tools, like Isatai and Illuminarty, our team came to conclusion that the photo was generated using AI, at least by 61 per cent.
Thus, it is evident from the above information that an AI-generated image has gone viral with false narratives.
