NewsMobile fact-checked the viral images, and found them to be AI-generated.
A Reverse Image Search yielded no credible sources corroborating the viral post. Moreover, neither Shubman nor Sara shared or acknowledged these images on their official social media handles.
A closer look at the images reveals multiple red flags, including unnatural facial expressions, inconsistent lighting, Awkward texture blending in the background, and subtle distortions, particularly around the facial features.
Also, running the images through Hive Moderation, an AI detection tool, NewsMobile confirmed that they were artificially generated.
Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral images showing Shubman Gill and Sara Tendulkar in tears are not AI-generated
