In the middle of a speech at Ulster University, Biden abruptly turned his back on the audience and declared: “Don’t jump,” adding that he apologized for the sight of his back.

Conducting a Google Keyword Search to find whether Biden ever gave a speech at Ulster University or not, we identified a YouTube video on the official channel of Reuters, titled: LIVE: US President Joe Biden speaks at an event in Belfast, streamed live on April 12, 2023.
Watching the video, we came to know that Biden recently visited Northern Ireland on April 11, 2023, to mark the 25th anniversary of a peace deal that largely ended 30 years of bloodshed in the region. He spoke at Ulster University on the next day, and the viral clip is from that speech only. The keyframes starting at 21:16 match exactly with the viral clip. The pictures published on Reuters from the same event clearly show that there were people standing on the balcony behind his podium.
There was also a Facebook live stream video of the same event on the official page of the White House. The initial frames of the video show a zoomed-out wide-angled view of the entire place where people can be clearly seen on the balconies behind the podium. This makes it clear that Biden was speaking to the people behind him and not to any invisible object.
Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral video, claiming Joe Biden was speaking to an invisible thing in-between his speech, is false.
