Days after Bollywood power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh announced the name of their newly born daughter, a picture of the couple with a baby is widely being circulated on social media, claiming to show their daughter Dua’s face.

NewsMobile fact-checked the picture in question, and found it to be doctored.
Running the viral picture through Reverse Image Search, the NM team traced the original visual on the official Facebook page of singer Neeti Mohan.
In the post, dated September 12, 2021, Neeti Mohan and actor Nihaar Pandya had announced the birth of their son, Aryaveer.
In the comparison above, it is clear that the faces of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were superimposed on the original image using photo-editing software.
Thus, the above findings establish that the picture in question is doctored.
