Fact Check: Did MP CM Yadav Criticise Rahul Gandhi For His Remarks On Hindu Religion In Parliament? Here’s The Truth

A video claiming to show Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav calling Rahul Gandhi the son of an Italian mother, grandson of Feroze Khan, and someone who does not understand Indian and Hindu religion, is doing the rounds on social media. Many users claim it to be true.

A Facebook user posted the viral post (archive link) with the following caption: मध्य प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री श्री मोहन यादव जी ने राहुल गांधी के बारे में क्या सत्य कहा है सुन लीजिए !🏌🏾‍♂️**🐅🚩 शेर की दहाड़ 🐅🚩* 💪🏾🚩 (English: *Listen to what the truth said by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Mohan Yadav about Rahul Gandhi! 🏌🏾 ♂️* *🐅🚩 Lion’s roar 🐅🚩*)

NewsMobile fact-checked the viral post, and found it to be false.

With a Google keyword search, the NM team identified a YouTube video on the official channel of Bharat Express MP. The video matches with the viral clip, informing that BJP MLA Rameshwar Sharma strongly reacted to the statement of Congress MP Rahul Gandhi in parliament, and said that he should apologise, otherwise, his effigy will be thrown in the dirty drain.

Searching further, we came across another YouTube shorts video on the official channel of Zee Business. The video confirms that it is, indeed, BJP MLA Rameshwar Sharma reacting to Rahul Gandhi’s statement in the parliament. We could not find any conclusive evidence linking MP CM Mohan Yadav to the viral video.

Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral post, claiming to show MP CM Mohan Yadav criticising Rahul Gandhi for his comments on Hindus in parliament, is false.
