A video showing a man in confrontation with another man, carrying probably some religious books, is going viral on social media. Many users claim that fake Hinduism books are being sold at cheap rates, with the name ‘Bhagwat Gita’, while from inside, it’s a Bible and Quran.
A Facebook user shared this video and wrote: “हिंदुओं को गुमराह करने के लिए पूरे भारत में नकली हिंदू धर्म पुस्तकें सस्ती दर पर बेची जा रही हैं, नाम ‘भगवतगीता’ और उसके अंदर लिखा है ‘पवित्र बाइबल पवित्र क़ुरआन’ l इस प्रकार की पुस्तकों का संपादन हिन्दू विरोधियों द्वारा किया जा रहा है l” [English translation: To mislead Hindus, fake Hindu religious books are being sold all over India at cheap rates by the name ‘Bhagwat Geeta’ and inside it is written ‘Holy Bible Holy Quran’. These types of books are being edited by anti-Hindu people.]

NewsMobile fact-checked the post, and found it to be false.
Observing the video carefully, our team identified a book in Telugu, titled గీతా నీ జ్ఞాన అమృతం (Geethani Gnana Amrutham.)
Putting the video keyframes through a Reverse Image Search, our team found that the book is available on self-styled godman Rampal Das’ official website.
The English version of the same book is named The Knowledge Of Gita Is Nectar. In the prologue, Rampal writes: “There are in total 18 chapters and 700 verses in holy book Gita. I have taken descriptions from this holy book as per requirement, and composed this text “The Knowledge of Gita is Nectar”. Like, there are herbs in a forest. A doctor takes necessary herbs from that forest and prepares a life-saving medicine from them. The forest still exists.”
The author also asserts: “Mankind is our religion. Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian, there is no separate religion.”

Also, a tweet by the verified Twitter handle of Sant Rampal Maharaj ji, posted on April 26, 2023, quotes Rampal saying, “Our Race is Living Being, Mankind is our religion. Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian, there is no separate religion.”

Now, it is clarified that Rampal has written about his views regarding Christianity and Islam, which he has documented in the book.
Thus, it is confirmed that the book is written by Rampal Das — a self-styled godman, and is not indicative of any distortion of Hindu scriptures.
