A video is widely circulating on social media showing a woman dressed as a bride. In the video, she dips her face into a bowl of water while another woman gently wipes off her make-up using tissue paper and the people around them start clapping. The video caption says: “The groom’s family ensures she is naturally beautiful, not just make-up.” Many users claim that the bride’s natural beauty is being tested by the groom’s family during the wedding.
The video is shared on Facebook with a caption: “The ‘check if her beauty is a natural test’ live at a wedding done by the groom’s family. What a shallow society But to be fair, I think the bride knew about the test beforehand and went for the waterproof option to “save face”
