A selfie of Bollywood actors Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is extensively circulating on social media, claiming that the two reunited in Dubai recently after many years.

NewsMobile fact-checked the image, and found it to be morphed.
A Reverse Image Search of the visual revealed the original photo, posted on the official Instagram handle of Bombay Times, dated April 17, 2023. The caption of the visual clarifies that the woman is actress Madhurima Tuli, who had shared the selfie with Salman Khan at a recent Iftar party.
Scanning further Madhurima’s official Instagram handle, the NM team found the original post on April 17, 2023, where she initially shared the picture with Salman Khan.

Upon close analysis of both images, it is clear that Aishwarya Rai’s face was superimposed over Madhurima’s in the original photo. Additionally, there have been no credible reports of Salman Khan meeting Aishwarya Rai recently.
So in conclusion, we can conclusively say that the image has been digitally altered and shared with misleading claims.
