A letter allegedly issued by Pakistan’s Ministry of Defence is going viral on social media, claiming that Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed has been officially terminated from the Pakistan Air Force. The letter cites his failure to protect the Kirana Hills nuclear facility, resulting in a radiation leak, as the reason for his dismissal.
A Facebook user posted the viral post with the following caption:

NewsMobile fact-checked the viral post and found the claims to be false.
Searching with relevant keywords, the NM team found “Bainga|Satire” written on the top-right corner. This handle had also been tagged to several viral posts. We traced the original post back to May 14, 2025.
The bio of the page clearly states that it shares political satire content. In fact, this same account has previously shared a similar fake letter claiming the Pakistan government was hiring video editors.
We tried checking the official websites of Pakistan’s government, but they were inaccessible due to Internet restrictions in India. So, we used a VPN to verify the official X accounts of relevant ministries, but no official statement supporting the viral claim was found.
Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral post, claiming Pakistani Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed has been officially terminated from the Pakistan Air Force, is false.
