Ahead of assembly polls in Delhi, a picture is doing the rounds on social media, claiming that a banner outside Tihar Jail reads: फिर आएंगे केजरीवाल (Kejriwal will come again).
The picture is shared with a caption in Hindi: तिहाड जेल के बाहर बैनर देखा गया है ज़िसमें लिखा हुआ है..! “फिर आयेंगे केजरीवाल..!!” अबे कुछ तो शर्म कर लो भाई..!!! (English version: A banner is seen outside Tihar Jail, which reads: “Kejriwal will come again..!!” Have some shame brother..!!!”)

NewsMobile fact-checked the picture in question, and found it to be digitally altered.
Running the image through Reverse Image Search revealed the original photo in a report published by The Hindu on July 19, 2021. The report covered a separate topic, and no such banner was visible in the original image.
The same picture has been used in several other reports. (These reports can be seen here, here and here)
On comparing the viral image with the original one, it becomes clear that the banner featuring Arvind Kejriwal is digitally altered using the AI tools.
Thus, we can conclusively say that the viral image of a banner outside Tihar jail displaying “Kejriwal will come again” is doctored.
