FACT CHECK
NewsMobile fact-checked the viral claim and found it to be completely fake and part of an online scam.
A keyword search revealed no government announcement, scheme, or press release related to free bikes for Aadhaar holders. A scheme of this scale would have received major media coverage, which it hasn’t. The official government welfare website also lists no such offer.
A closer review of the viral clip clearly indicates AI manipulation: Mismatched lip movements, Synthetic, unnatural voice tone, Smooth and distorted facial movements.
We ran the video through Hive Moderation’s AI-detection tool, which further confirmed that the footage is digitally altered.

The viral video claiming PM Modi announced free Splendor bikes for Aadhaar card holders is a deepfake. This is a scam attempt designed to mislead users and collect personal information.
