FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the image, and found it to be AI-generated.

Running the Reverse Image Search, our team found no results from reliable news sources. Had Tyson draped a Palestinian flag, it would have got wide coverage by large-scale media.

Although the picture initially appeared authentic, a closer inspection revealed several discrepancies, such as the absence of a tattoo on Tyson’s chest that honours his late daughter Exodus. This missing detail suggests that the image was probably created using Artificial Intelligence.

Moreover, putting the picture through the AI-detection tool — TrueMedia, it was revealed that the picture in question is AI-generated.

So in conclusion, we can say that the image of Mike Tyson with a Palestinian flag draped over his shoulders is AI-generated.
