A Reverse Image Search led us to the original photo, posted on Facebook, which shows Axar Patel with his wife, Meha Patel and cricketer Shardul Thakur, not MS Dhoni.
On careful analysis, it becomes evident that Dhoni’s face has been superimposed on Shardul Thakur’s body using photo-editing tools. Telltale signs such as mismatched lighting, awkward facial alignment, and poor blending clearly indicate digital manipulation.
In conclusion, the viral image is morphed.
