A video, claiming to show Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu announcing a joint response by Israel and India against Iran and its supposed ally Pakistan, is doing the rounds on social media.
In the video, Netanyahu can allegedly be heard saying, “A few days ago, I listened to a statement by Iran’s Supreme Leader and Army Chief in which they said that if Israel makes another mistake, they will annihilate it completely. Let me tell you with certainty, if Mr. Trump hadn’t intervened, there wouldn’t have been anything left of you. You also had the support of Pakistan and China. But now, along with India, we are going to respond to both you and Pakistan, for what Pakistan did, even if not directly, they worked behind the scenes. But now, we will respond to that. Even though a ceasefire has been declared, you should also be prepared. We will not abandon Gaza, nor the Muslims of Gaza.”

NewsMobile fact-checked the claim and found it to be a deepfake.
Searching with relevant keywords, the NM team did not find any credible media reports regarding such a statement by Israeli PM Netanyahu. Moreover, such a bold announcement would have definitely attracted widespread media coverage.
Additionally, analysing the video carefully, several inconsistencies — unnatural facial expressions, mismatched facial movements, and audio that did not sync with the lip movements — were observed.
Running the video keyframes through Reverse Image Search, we detected the original video, uploaded on a YouTube channel — “Israeli PM” on June 22, 2025, with a title: “Statement by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu”.
In the entire video, there is no mention of any joint action with India against Iran or Pakistan. Instead, the speech focusses on praising U.S. President Donald Trump’s decision to target Iran’s nuclear facilities. Similar videos were also published by media outlets like Al Jazeera and WION on the same date.
The AI content detection tool Cantilux also indicates signs of the audio and visuals being digitally manipulated by using deepfake technology.
Hence, it is confirmed that the viral video showing PM Netanyahu announcing a sensitive statement is a deepfake.
