A video showing a massive rally in connection with the recent storyteller incident in Etawah, UP, is doing the rounds on social media. Many users claim that thousands of people from the Yadav community gathered in Etawah following the dispute.
A Facebook user posted the viral post with the following caption: इटावा में यादव भाइयो का काफिला यादव ही कह दे (English version: The convoy of Yadav brothers in Etawah should be called Yadav only)

A closer look at the viral video reveals a vehicle with the name “Ravindra Singh Bhati” written on it. Conducting a Reverse Image Search of the extracted video keyframes using Google Lens, NewsMobile identified the Instagram posts by users @praveenbarmer19 and @viralbhayani, uploaded on April 4, 2024, and April 10, 2024, respectively. The same video appears in both posts. As per their descriptions, the footage shows a rally held by Ravindra Singh Bhati in Barmer, Rajasthan.

Further, an article by NDTV Rajasthan, dated April 4, 2024, confirms that Bhati, an independent MLA from Shiv assembly seat, had filed his nomination for the Barmer Lok Sabha seat. The report states that thousands of people attended his nomination rally, and the article includes video clips from the same event.

Meanwhile, a separate report by Dainik Jagran on June 27, 2025, details protests that occurred in Bakewar (Etawah) following an incident in Dandarpur village. According to the report, hundreds gathered, blocked roads, clashed with police, and pelted stones near Tadhwa Kachiyan. The police registered a case against 21 people, with 19 arrests made at the scene.
Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral post, claiming to show thousands of people from the Yadav community gathered in Etawah following the dispute, is false.
