Amid the ongoing controversy over a statement made by Samajwadi Party MP Ramji Lal Suman — who allegedly referred to Rajput ruler Rana Sanga as a “traitor” in Parliament — a video showing a large nighttime bike rally is doing the rounds on social media. It is being claimed that the video captures a Kshatriya community rally held in Agra on April 12 during the birth anniversary celebrations of Rana Sanga. It also links the visuals to the agitation by Karni Sena members, who earlier vandalised the MP’s house in protest.
The video is shared on Facebook with a caption: रात्रि के समय आगरा पहुचते हुएं क्षत्रियों का काफिला “रक्त ए स्वाभिमान’ #राणा_सांगा_राष्ट्र_का_गौरव (English version: A convoy of Kshatriyas reaching Agra at night “Blood of self-respect” #Rana_Sanga_Pride_of_the_nation)

FACT CHECK
NewsMobile fact-checked the above claim and found it to be MISLEADING.
Running the video keyframes through Reverse Image Search, the NM team identified multiple posts from February 2025, well before the controversy surrounding Ramji Lal Suman emerged on March 21. A longer version of the same video had been uploaded on Instagram on February 17, with a caption in Marathi, indicating that the footage was from “Mayakka chinchani te Sangalwadi, Sangli.” In this extended clip, participants can even be seen riding a horse-drawn cart.

Further investigation revealed more videos from the same day, one of which was uploaded by a user named Shreyas Angani.

An article by The Times of India, dated February 19, also reported on the event, saying that over 200 bikers participated in the festivities and that local police had to resort to lathicharge after the crowd caused disruption during the race.
Thus, it is confirmed that the viral video claiming to show a large bike rally in Agra over the recent Rana Sanga controversy is false.
