Amid the controversy over “I Love Muhammad” poster, an image claiming to quote Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal is extensively circulating on social media.
The viral image attributes to him the following statement, “If you truly love Prophet Muhammad, don’t just roam the streets holding banners that say ‘I Love Muhammad’. Instead, put those banners and stickers on your shops and do business under that sign. Let’s see how many people will actually buy from you.”
Several social media users have shared the image, claiming it to be a real quote by the actor.

Searching with relevant keywords on Google, the NM team found no credible news reports or sources corroborating the remarks made by Paresh Rawal.
Moreover, a post on X from Paresh Rawal’s official account explicitly denies making the statement. Responding to one of the viral posts that attributed the quote to him, the actor wrote: “It’s not my thoughts or my words. It’s incorrectly attributed to my name.”
