An image of an exquisite building is being shared on social media, claiming that it is a hotel in the Valsad district of Gujarat.

The image is being shared with a caption: ये तस्वीर अमेरिका, दुबई या लंदन नही, बल्कि गुजरात के वलसाड ज़िले के एक होटल से अपलोड की गई है। विकास बोलता है। (English translation: This picture has not been uploaded from America, Dubai or London, but from a hotel in Valsad district of Gujarat. Development speaks.)

NewsMobile fact-checked the post, and found it to be false.

Running a Google Reverse Image Search, we found pictures of the same building on Pinterest and a stock photo website Freepik.

Both the sites have mentioned that the picture shows Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore.

We also found the viral image uploaded on the Facebook page of Architecture & Design, dated August 26, 2019, with a caption: Andrew Tan…Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.

Pictures and videos of the same building can also be found on the website of Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.

Thus, it is clear that the picture is from Singapore and not Gujarat.
