During the fever of Lok Sabha election buzz across the nation, a viral post has surfaced on social media platforms claiming that Sanjay Singh from the Aam Aadmi Party has been awarded a ticket by the Samajwadi Party to contest from Jaunpur in Uttar Pradesh. The list in question utilised the Samajwadi Party’s election symbol and purported a call for united voting under the PDA banner.

With the Google Open Search tool, our team found numerous news reports regarding the list from various websites. One of the reports posted on the ABP News website, dated April 3, 2024, labels the viral list as fake.

The SP clarified that the party hadn’t issued any such list and cautioned against trusting such misleading information.
Our team examined SP’s official social media channels, but found no reference to the viral list.
Hence, we can conclusively say that the viral list with Sanjay Singh from AAP having a SP ticket to contest from Jaunpur in UP is fake.
