FACT CHECK
NewsMobile fact-checked the viral claim and found it to be a scam.
A keyword search revealed no official government announcement or credible news report about such a scheme.
The link shared in the video — bazartak.net — redirected to a suspicious website that sought personal information, a clear red flag for fraud.

Analysis of the viral video showed AI-generated manipulation, including lip-sync mismatches, synthetic audio, and unnaturally smooth visuals.
Verification through Hive Moderation’s AI-detection tool confirmed that the footage was AI-manipulated.

In conclusion, the claim that the government is giving Rs 10,000 to women between 18–45 years as a Diwali gift is false. It is a scam designed to harvest personal details using an AI-generated video.
