A video featuring Bollywood actor Salman Khan and Anant Ambani, Director at Reliance Industries Limited, is widely circulating on social media, claiming that both are at the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj.
A Facebook user posted the video with a caption: अनंत अंबानी और सलमान खान महाकुंभ में (English: Anant Ambani and Salman Khan at Mahakumbh.)

NewsMobile fact-checked the claim, and found it to be false.
Putting the video keyframes through Reverse Image Search, NewsMobile found a similar video posted on Instagram, dated December 30, 2024. According to the Instagram post, the video shows Salman Khan and Anant Ambani together at Reliance Greens in Jamnagar, Gujarat.

We also found a report, dated 30 December, 2024, with a title: Salman Khan visits Jamnagar mall with Anant and Radhika Ambani, tells the crowd, “Itno khoobsurat jagah hai yeh”. The report features a video showing Salman and Anant in the same attire as the viral video. As per the report, Salman Khan, who celebrated his 59th birthday in Jamnagar, visited a shopping mall on December 29, accompanied by Anant Ambani.
Thus, it is evident that the video does not show Salman with Anant Ambani at Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj but a shopping mall in Jamnagar.
