FACT CHECK
NewsMobile fact-checked the claim and found it to be false and misleading.
We began our verification by searching for any credible news reports or official confirmations regarding Salman Khan’s death. However, no such announcement has been made by his family, representatives, or any reputable news outlet. Given Salman Khan’s global popularity, any such development would have attracted widespread international media coverage.
Next, we extracted keyframes from the viral video and performed a reverse image search. The same video was found on the Instagram page of Instant Bollywood, dated June 22, 2025. The caption clearly states that the footage is from the condolence meeting of Karisma Kapoor’s ex-husband, Sunjay Kapur, who passed away in the UK on June 12.
