Kiara recently showcased her radiant baby bump at the 2025 Met Gala, captivating attendees with her pregnancy glow after initially keeping it private.
However, amidst the excitement, images depicting the couple in a hospital labour room have spread rapidly across social media.
A Facebook post by Abarna Sundarraman features a collage of images of the couple, accompanied by a caption: Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra’s first look with newborn baby after being blessed with a baby girl. The post went viral with 237K likes.

NewsMobile fact-checked the viral claim and found it to be false.
Conducting a keyword search on Google, NewsMobile could not find any credible news or official sources confirming the announcement. It has also not been shared by Kiara Advani or Siddharth Malhotra. The power couple have been so transparent about their parenthood journey that they broke the news when Kiara was expecting.
We came across an article from NewsPro.Celebrity, dated May 10, 2025, claiming Sidharth and Kiara welcomed their first girl child, which turned out to be fake.
The report included images depicting the couple with a newborn, which gained traction online. Additionally, a Facebook user shared an embedded link to the article, alleging that Sidharth and Kiara announced the birth via social media.
But running the above picture through Google Reverse Image, we discovered that it was also used when actor Deepika Padukone gave birth to her daughter. Though the NM team was unable to find the original source of the image, it’s confirmed that all searches displayed the same image.
Putting the viral images through AI detection tools — Hive Moderation and WasitAi — for further verification, it was confirmed that the image was artificially generated.
Thus, we can conclusively say that the viral images showing Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra with their newborn child are photoshopped.
