Images claiming to show Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma and his wife Ritika Sajdeh posing in front of Burj Khalifa after India’s victory against Australia in the ICC Champions Trophy semi-final is doing the rounds on social media.
A Facebook user posted the image with a caption: After winning the match against Australia, Ritika and Rohit Sharma got photographed in Dubai style in front of Burj Khalifa.

NewsMobile fact-checked the claim, and found it to be false.
The NM team performed a Google search using relevant keywords, but found no credible reports or articles supporting the claim. Additionally, a review of Rohit and Ritika’s official social media accounts showed no such photo, story, or update.
Upon a closer examination of the viral pictures, several inconsistencies were identified. The skin texture appeared unusually smooth and artificial, while the background looked unnatural.
Putting the images through AI detection tools — Hive Moderation, Verifye — NewsMobile found the images to be AI-generated.
Thus, we can conclusively say that the viral images claiming to show Rohit Sharma and Ritika Sajdeh in front of Burj Khalifa are digitally created.
