After India’s eight-wicket loss to New Zealand, a widely circulated image on social media shows Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma lifting KL Rahul on their shoulders.

NewsMobile fact-checked the picture in question, and found it to be morphed.
Putting the picture through Reverse Image Search, the NM team found the original picture in a report by NDTV, dated November 16, 2013.
The picture shows Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni carrying Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar when he played his last international Test match.
The comparison clearly shows that the faces of KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, and Jay Shah were superimposed onto the original image using the photo-editing software.
Thus, we can conclusively say that the viral image, claiming to show KL Rahul being carried by Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, is digitally manipulated.
