Following the demise of industrialist and philanthropist, Ratan Tata, a picture of him having a meal with few children is being widely circulated on social media.

NewsMobile conducted a thorough fact-check of the image in question, and found it to be AI-generated.
Upon closer examination, the NM team identified several inconsistencies in the image. Notably, Ratan Tata’s hands and eyes of all the children appeared distorted. These faults are common indicators of AI manipulation.
Additionally, putting the picture through an AI-detection tool — Hive AI, we found the picture 99.9% AI-generated.
Thus, it is confirmed that the image in question is AI-generated.
