NewsMobile fact-checked the video in question and found it to be a deepfake.

By searching with relevant keywords, our team could not locate any credible record of the anchor discussing diabetes remedies or similar content on Aaj Tak’s platforms. We also observed clear inconsistencies in the video, such as lip-sync issues between the anchor’s movements and the audio.

Using TrueMedia’s advanced deepfake detection tool, we conducted an in-depth analysis, uncovering substantial AI-generated alterations in both facial features and audio elements. This strongly indicates the use of deepfake technology to fabricate the video. (Detailed Analysis can be seen here.)
