Following the murder of politician Baba Siddique, a video allegedly featuring Sanjay Dutt has surfaced online. In this clip, Dutt purportedly shows his support for Salman Khan and issues a warning to Lawrence Bishnoi.

Putting the video keyframes through Reverse Image Search, the NM team traced the original video on the official Instagram handle of Sanjay Dutt, dated November 07, 2018.

In the original video, Dutt was extending the greetings of Diwali.
A detailed comparison of both videos reveals identical visuals. However, in the original video, Sanjay Dutt has not referred to Lawrence Bishnoi or Salman Khan.
Digging further, TrueMedia’s deepfake detector showed substantial digital manipulation. The tool identified AI-driven modifications to facial features and confirmed that the audio is 98% AI-generated. [Detailed analysis can be seen here].
Thus, we can conclusively say that the video, claiming that Sanjay Dutt has supported Salman Khan and warned Lawrence Bishnoi, is digitally manipulated.
