The 30-second video shows a series of loud explosions with visible flames in the distance, set against a backdrop of residential houses — suggesting that the blasts occurred in or near a populated area.
A Facebook user posted the viral post with the following caption:
“🚨 Massive explosions reported at the military ammunition depot in India’s Lipa Valley after being targeted by Pakistani forces.”

A Reverse Image Search of the video keyframes finds a social media post from March 2022 containing the same video. The original post confirms that the video is from Sialkot in Pakistan. Several news reports from that time have also corroborated this.
According to a report by India.com, a massive explosion occurred on March 20, 2022, in an ammunition shed near the Sialkot Garrison in Pakistan’s Punjab province. The blast was reportedly heard near the cantonment area and caused widespread concern. Pakistan’s military later confirmed that the explosions were the result of an accidental fire triggered by a short circuit.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that the fire was brought under control quickly and that no lives were lost nor was any significant property damaged. ABP news reported the same.
Thus, it is clear that the viral video predates the Pahalgam attack. And the post claiming to show the Pakistani army destroying an Indian military ammunition depot is False.
