FACT CHECK
NewsMobile fact-checked the above claim and found it to be MISLEADING.
A Reverse Image Search of the video keyframes traced it back to a news report uploaded on YouTube, dated May 12. The report confirmed that the men in question were not political agitators but criminal suspects. The main individual seen in the video is identified as Zubair Maulana, a well-known gangster with over 55 criminal cases registered against him. He, along with three associates, was apprehended by the Bhopal Police for vandalism, illegal possession of weapons, and firing in public to spread fear.
Multiple media outlets, including Free Press Journal, reported that the arrests were made on May 8 in a coordinated operation involving police teams from Mangalwara, Tila Jamalpura, Hanumanganj, and the Crime Branch. Zubair had been on the run since October 2024 and was wanted in connection with a violent incident in Bhopal’s Mangalwara and Tila Jamalpura localities on May 6. Crucially, none of the reports mention any connection to Pakistan.
Thus, it is confirmed that the viral video shows the arrest of a habitual offender in Bhopal, and has no link to “Pakistan Zindabad” slogans.
