FACT CHECK
NewsMobile fact-checked the video, and found it to be a Deepfake.
Upon close analysis, the NM team identified several inconsistencies, particularly noticeable lip-sync discrepancies between the audio and visuals.
Running the Reverse Image Search of the video keyframes, we traced the original content to a YouTube video on the Pachouli Wellness channel by Dr. Preeti Seth, dated January 30, 2024.
In the 39-minute video, Dr Chaudhary discusses important factors to consider before opting for LASIK surgery. At no point does he mention drinking lemon water as a cure for eye conditions.
A detailed comparison of both videos reveals identical visuals. However, the original video does not refer to remedies for eye cure, confirming the viral video is doctored.

A thorough analysis of the viral video, using TrueMedia’s deepfake detector, reveals strong evidence of digital manipulation. The tool detected 95% AI-driven alterations in facial features and 99% audio manipulations by an AI generator or cloning, further confirming the use of deepfake technology in the video. So in conclusion, we can say that the viral claim that Dr Rahil Chaudhary endorses lemon water as a remedy for vision loss is a Deepfake.
