Putting the keyframes of the video through a Reverse Image Search, our team traced the same video in an article by Zee News, dated August 18, 2023, with a description: The video is from Sitapur in Uttar Pradesh.
Another report by Dainik Bhaskar informs that the leopard has been roaming in Sitapur for 40 day. It has killed at least three and injured more than 10 people so far.
So, it is clear that the video is from Sitapur and not Ballia, which is 185.5 km away from Sitapur.
Thus, it can be concluded that the viral post is misleading.
