Analysing the video keyframes through Reverse Image Search, NewsMobile found its extended version uploaded on the official YouTube channels of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and ANI News, dated May 29, 2025. The video shows PM Modi leading a mega roadshow in Patna, Bihar.
This was also published on the official website of the Bharatiya Janata Party, dated May 29, 2025.
Another report by The Hindu, confirms that the event took place in Patna on May 29, 2025. As per the report, thousands of people from across Bihar gathered in Patna that evening, waving tricolours and chanting patriotic slogans to hail PM Modi for the success of Operation Sindoor. Modi reached Patna to lay the foundation stone for a city gas distribution (CGD) project worth ₹1,010 crore in West Bengal’s Alipurduar district, emphasising that the state’s development is vital for India’s progress towards becoming a developed nation.

So in conclusion, we can say that the viral video, in fact, shows PM Modi on a roadshow in Bihar, NOT a visit to Pokhara in Nepal as claimed.
