A photo collage of three images, allegedly showing actor Aamir Khan as a groom marrying his rumoured girlfriend Gauri Spratt, has gone viral on social media. Many users claim that the images are from Aamir Khan’s third wedding, following his divorce from Kiran Rao.
The viral post also includes a link to an article. However, NewsMobile found the link to be dubious, as it leads to an error page when clicked.

Since the collage contains three different images, the NM team debunked each one individually:
Image 1
The first image claims to show South actor Ram Charan attending Aamir Khan’s wedding. Running the viral image through Reverse Image Search, we traced the original image carried by The Indian Express, NDTV, and Navbharat Times. The actual photo is from the wedding of actor Sharwanand and Rakshita Reddy, which took place in Jaipur on June 7, 2023. In the viral version, Aamir Khan’s face has been swapped using the face-swapping technology.

The second image depicts a completely different wedding setting and attire. Here, we found the original image in reports by Times Entertainment and India Today, dated November 17, 2021. It shows TV actress Shraddha Arya’s wedding with her husband Rahul.

The third image shows notable inconsistencies typically found in AI-generated visuals, such as crooked fingers, poor detailing, and an unusual draping of the bride’s dupatta. Additionally, the AI image detection tool, Hive Moderation, also confirmed that the visual was digitally manipulated.
Hence, we can conclusively say that the viral images claiming Aamir Khan’s third marriage to Gauri Spratt are digitally manipulated.
