FACT CHECK
NewsMobile fact-checked the claim, and found it to be false.
Performing a Google search using relevant keywords, the NM team found no credible reports or articles mentioning Salman Khan visiting Saif Ali Khan in the hospital. Even Salman Khan’s official social media profiles have not carried any posts, stories, or updates confirming such a visit.
However, closely observing the viral images, we identified multiple inconsistencies in skin texture which is unusually smooth and artificial, and eyes which looked distorted and unnatural. We also found a watermark on the images that read ‘GROK.’ Grok is a generative AI tool designed to create art and visuals from text inputs.
To further confirm, we put the images through Hive Moderation, an AI detection tool, and found that the images are AI-generated.
Thus, it is confirmed that the images claiming to show Salman Khan visiting Saif Ali Khan in the hospital are only AI-generated.
