FACT CHECK
NewsMobile fact-checked the video in question, and found it to be a deepfake.
Upon careful examination, the NM team spotted several inconsistencies, most notably lip-sync issues between the audio and visuals. We also located the original video on the official YouTube channel of India TV, dated April 12, 2014.
The segment from the viral clip appears at the 13:40 mark. In the video, journalist Rajat Sharma and Amitabh Bachchan are actually discussing the film Bhootnath Returns, and nowhere in the video they spoke about joint pain.
A detailed comparison of both videos reveals identical visuals. However, the original video does not refer to joint pain or any related remedies, confirming the viral video is doctored.

A thorough Analysis of the viral video, using TrueMedia’s deepfake detector, reveals strong evidence of digital manipulation. The tool also detected 99% AI-driven alterations in facial features, further confirming the use of deepfake technology in the video. (Detailed Analysis can be seen here)
