FACT CHECK
NewsMobile fact-checked the above claim, and found it to be FALSE.
Running the Reverse Image Search of the video keyframes, a similar video was found shared on the Facebook page Mike China Vlog, dated August 22, 2024. The post identifies the location as the G6911 Anlai Expressway in China, linking Ankang in Shaanxi to Laifeng in Hubei. It highlights the expressway’s impressive architecture and its route through Chongqing’s breathtaking landscapes.
The LinkedIn page Civil Engineers World shared a clearer video of the same construction, attributing it to Fengjie County, Chongqing, China.
Additionally, the Instagram page Living China and the YouTube channel Son Of China featured similar footage, affirming the video’s location and its connection to the Anlai Expressway project.
Thus, it is confirmed that the viral video showing the underconstruction National Highway is NOT from India’s Jammu and Kashmir BUT China.
