Amid the outbreak of the Coronavirus, a video is being shared on social media which shows a hostage situation at an airport. It is being claimed that the video is from China following the outburst of COVID-19.
The caption in Hindi read: “#Corona का मज़ाक़ उड़ाने से फ़ुर्सत मिल गयी हो तो चीन से आए इस विडीयो को देख ले ओर अंदाज़ा लगा ले की स्थिति कितनी गंभीर हे.. कृपया सावधानी बरते ,और कल देश हित , समाज हित और अपने परिवार हित के लिये #JantaCurfew का समर्थन करे|”

NewsMobile fact-checked the above post and found that the claim attached to the video is FAKE.
On breaking the video into several keyframes and putting them through Reverse Image Search, we came across the same video in a news bulletin on YouTube dated November 28, 2019, by Dakaractu TV.
According to the title and description of the video which was in French, it was established that the above video is of a mock drill that took place at an airport in Senegal, South Africa on November 28, 2019.
Hence, the above information proves that the viral video is NOT from China and it has no connection with the deadly Coronavirus.
