NM VERIFIED
NewsMobile investigated the viral post and found the claims to be false.
To verify the claim, we reverse-searched keyframes from the viral video. This led us to a post shared by news agency Asian News International (ANI) on May 27, 2021, featuring visuals identical to those seen in the viral clip.

According to ANI, the incident involved BJP leader Shivraj Nariyalwale, who was beaten by police after he and his family allegedly vandalised a hospital following the death of a patient.
Further searches led us to a report published by News18 Marathi on the same day. The report stated that police assaulted a BJP worker after he entered a COVID-19 hospital and vandalised the intensive care unit following the death of a relative.

We also found that on May 28, 2021, Devendra Fadnavis, who was then the Leader of the Opposition in Maharashtra, publicly demanded action against Shivraj Nariyalwale. In his statement, Fadnavis identified Nariyalwale as the district general secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) in Jalna district.
During our investigation, we found no credible news reports about any Bhim Army activist named Suresh Jatav being beaten by police or making derogatory remarks about Hindu deities.
The available evidence confirms that the viral video is from a 2021 incident involving BJP worker Shivraj Nariyalwale and has no connection to the Bhim Army or Suresh Jatav.
Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral post, claiming to show Bhim Army activist Suresh Jatav, allegedly assaulted after making derogatory remarks about Lord Ram, is false.
