NewsMobile checked the viral image and found it to be AI-generated.
A reverse image search, combined with keyword-based analysis, did not yield any credible results. No official government handle, verified social media account, or reputable media organisation has published or acknowledged such a photograph from President Putin’s visit to India.
Importantly, President Putin did not visit the Taj Mahal during his recent India visit on December 4 and 5, further casting doubt on the authenticity of the image.
A closer examination of the image reveals multiple red flags commonly associated with AI-generated content, including inconsistent lighting, unnatural facial blending, and unnaturally smooth background textures.
To confirm the findings, NewsMobile analysed the image using the AI-detection tool Sightengine, which flagged the image as AI-generated, conclusively establishing that the viral picture is not genuine.

In conclusion, the viral image claiming to show Vladimir Putin with PM Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath at the Taj Mahal is fake and has been digitally created using AI tools.
